Took off for 3 weeks to deer hunt, but got a call just now to make 2 hunts with two different guides in Stuttgart. I've never been, so jumped on it. What to expect?

My farm is 14 miles from Stuttgart and the best they have done this year is 6 in a hunt. Im sure some fields in Stuttgart have been putting up numbers though.

Tons of geese in the area at the moment.

Hunt in the morning, stop by Macks and make it rain in the afternoon, seduce sloots at Wildlife Bar and Grill in the evening.

We are hunting fields. Both guides said that's where the birds are. We are flying in to Stuttgart airport, and hunting 12 miles outside. We will be pretty close to you.

Nice. My farm is in Clarendon. My pow pow said there were about 1000 ducks running it a while back, but could not get any to work.

Good Luck and please report. I will be up there on January 9 through 11.

Deer hunt in Stuttgart, Germany

Successful hunters receive their shooting branch!

I highly suggest you check out the Porsche museum as well. Wunderbar!

I'm not sure. I was told to bring $1,500 and that will cover me for airfare, hunts, shells, and whatever else I need. I will get breakdown from my brother in a bit and update. 4 of us are hunting. Myself, my brother, my cousin, and my uncle. I just found out about it, so I've been running around like a mad man trying to get my shite together.

They might lay out the yellow brick road if you are flying in like a boss...

Care to name the guides?

Sure, I'll update when I find out. We are chartering a plane from Hammond. That's the most expensive part. I saw pictures from both guide services and it looks like they've been whackin and stackin. I'll be sure to update with pics!

Better sneak in a timber hunt while there just to say you did or at least drive to the Metro and look.

Definately just look at the Metro at least. Best high ballin, tire slashin, boat bumpin time you could ever see

Seriously though, if you can ANY way get a quick timber hunt, DO IT. In the last few years I have moved away from my field and into the bottoms, its where the greenheads mingle up there.
