There's no way you should have a heater in any association with a hayride.

Just tell them to wear warm clothes and bring some blankets. It's a hayride. It's supposed to be low key fun country time.

Is there going to be an open Yeti cooler on the hayride? That's the only reason I can think of that it would be too cold in LA this weekend.

Clear a space in the middle of the hay and just build a campfire. What could go wrong?

When we had hayrides (back in the day), children weren't invited. Bourbon and sex were not jokes.

Tell them to dress warm. It isn't like its gonna freeze. No way I'd put any kind of heater that near a truckload of hay. I have first hand experience with a hay barn fire.

Did I miss something?
Is it gonna be THAT cold this weekend?
F ing jackets. Damn.
And I never remember being cold from when i was a kid.
Kids are too busy playing and adults freak out and want to insulate them.

A hay ride with kids. If these kids are young enough that you have to worry about keeping them warm, this is going to be the most unenjoyable time of your life. Between the women whining about being cold and keeping the kids warm and bitching at you about watching them so they don't fall off the trailer, you're gonna need a full fifth by yourself. If I were you, I'd pray for rain.

Seriously? What's it going to be 50? They can prob handle the exposure for a brief time with little chance of hypothermia

Oh I know. But Friday night between 7-9, I doubt it is much below 50 anywhere. Kids should be running around, and wives should be just fine.
