I've had them come close but not that close. I have had gators retrieve my ducks early season.

Yeah once, my Dad did when we were goose hunting in Texas. Although he wisely rolled out of the way instead of trying to catch a 20 pound Greater Canada Goose

Awesome vid btw

I've had it happen and pulled up from the catch at the last second bc I didn't want bird bone going through my hand

I feel like even a light duck would be like catching a football.

Goose would be like getting hit wit a bus!

Did not catch it but my dad had one land in the pit.

Rize, last year another OBer and myself were teal hunting his spot and had one stolen by a gator a few yards from where we were hunting in chest deep water, shite was wild.

Not sure if it's true or not but did hear a story where a guy was hunting by himself obviously tried catching a bird got stuck by a bone and bled out. Like I said not sure if true but I will never try to catch the ne like that.

Never caught a bird before. I had a specklebelly fall on me in a pit blind once. Hopefully that never happens again.

same here...surprising how fast a bunch of people can move when that bird is falling towards the blind.

I dropped a wood duck in the blind once. Didn't try to catch it, but it did brush my leg before it hit.

Yes, I wouldn't suggest doing it, watched my dad's buddy dislocate his elbow attempting a catch.
