Again you want the trust first and then make your purchases.

If I already have a suppressor and its not in the trust should I still do a trust and put it in there? If I bought additional Class III in the future would that one trust umbrella all class IIIs?...Tia

I can't seem to get into the supressor fad right now. Not sure other than the cool factor what the big deal is. The cost to cool doesn't do it for me.

If you are going to make a trust for futures purchases, I always recommend putting all of your Class 3 in the same trust. You only need one trust for all your purchases. It will cover you and your trustees as well as ensure an estate plan for when you die.

Is this something you could do for me if I am out of state (FL)?

Sorry, I'm limited to LA. I would consult a local attorney and avoid the online trust mills.

Will do, thanks

Do you know the maximum allowed in the trust?

Right, of course you want to have it taken care of before you buy anything. But there's no point in setting it up now instead of just before you buy it.

I'm just saying there is no reason to do it now. No reason not to either.

Having one brother that is an attorney who works for Silencerco, and another that is an attorney here in Louisiana is a nIce thing. I have been trying to get them to come on here and answer questions for people, but they always say they are too busy.
They are all in town this week so I'll twist some arms.

Just wondering, mainly because I just got married and am about to have to go do some paperwork anyways, figured I might as well get a gun trust done too.

I would make sure that the attorney is knowledgeable on gun trust. There are some little things, and verbiage that make big differences in the long run.
