Budget and size of safe or the number of guns you hope to fit in it will help us help you.

Liberty and Browning are the two brands I have my eyes on.

I like the old fashion type of dial lock, I have a fear (probably wrong) that something would happen to the electric lock when I needed to get in (electromagnetic pulse).... Hope I am wrong
I have and like browning gold series

I have a Browning Medallion.Very nice fit and finish.I forget the fire rating but it was at the top when I purchased it in 2008.A tip....Find the biggest one you can afford and go one size bigger.

Those Brownings seem real nice. I have a liberty that i like a lot. Check out warranties and get the biggest one you can.

I got the manual dial. I don't trust that electric shite.

I have a Liberty 30 gun but not so many guns. Great American made safe. I suggest you buy a safe that handles twice as many guns as you own with a minimum of one hour fire. Wile you should be good on fire protection this level also provides a better defense against break ins. Plus you need the extra room for important papers and the wifes jewels (if these are less than the guns; stay off the OT).

The color I want has been on back order for 3 months now, but when I'm spending 5k on something I'm getting exactly what I want so I don't mind waiting.

Good video but maybe an overkill on what you need. I think the best idea is what a friend showed me. Hide the guns, or safe, in plain view. A slide out behind a TV entertainment center, or a slide out fron under/behind the bed.
