For those(without children) looking for a way to fasten a gun behind a dresser, under a table/chair/etc.
This seems to be a pretty cool and cheap way to do so.

Got to head to Lowes anyway after work. Will have to try this.

My cheap holster screwed to the back of the head board is very easy and accessible. This looks cool but if someone was making noise breaking in and woke me up, I'm afraid I wouldn't grab it just right or know where exactly it was which could lead to knocking it down. Just a thought.

You can get a 18" magnetic tool holder at Harbor Freight for $5. I have a couple in my shop and the magnets are strong. Never tried a gun but can't see why not.

Yeah, but what about the all-ceramic Glock 18 (the one that can go through airport metal detectors)?

That's why the instructions said to use ceramic magnets. Dumbass.

I bought 2 of these magnets for both my vehicles, they hold my 1911 very well. I placed them next to the drivers seat on the console in easy reach.

Now if only I could get rid of these damned kids... I could have a cool place to hold my gun
