Does anyone know if the speckled trout are biting in the surf right now? If so, does anyone have any advice, best practices, etc?

Thinking about loading the kids up and taking them down for a day this weekend...

If you're going off of Elmer's bring a wagon to put your stuff on since you can't drive on the beach anymore.

There will be so many people down there, you can surf fish walking on people and never get your feet wet

They all over the beach.... fish live shrimp, croakers or plastics... we tore them up (2-man limit) on all plastics two weekends ago. Vudu shrimp under cork and opening night h&h minnow. But live shrimp is your best bet for success.... We heading down tonight and will be down there for a week! Happy Fishing!
