Awesome setup you got there. I've looked at Gheenoe's for years, but never pulled the trigger on one.

I love the Greenoe. I was seriously considering getting one and if I fished by myself or with another adult I would have gotten one.

But I thought it was to narrow to fish with kids.

I got a Jon boat instead that lets me walk around the boat unhooking fish, trees, lines, siblings, trolling motors, rocks, and the outboard from the ends of my kids lines.

Not even close. This things can hold a crazy amount of weight. There's a picture of a gheenoe with 7 adults in it.

Looks good! Is that the platform and grab bar from Gheenoe or did you have someone else make it?

Is it me or is the platform leaning forward a little? Or is that by design to offset the stern squat?

What size Yeti is that? I'm thinking about getting a Gheenoe 15'4" but with a rear deck and no other decks, and want to be able to use a Yeti 45 or 65 as the front seat when using as a canoe, depending on the height.

I can't tell whether what you have is a Yeti 65 or 75. Not much difference between the heights of those two, but a 45 or a 35 is about 3" lower, which makes a difference when paddling. Even using a Yeti Roadie or Rtic 20 would work for that purpose, also. I'd use a bigger cooler in the front when using it with a motor and use the front cooler as a casting platform.

Heck, I may have it custom made as a slick and use a Yeti or Rtic as the rear seat, also, and strap Crazy Creek chairs onto the front and rear coolers, and secure them to the gunwales (or some other way). In any event, I don't want the seats to be any higher than the gunwales for paddling purposes.

Edit: I now see you have a front deck that the cooler is sitting on. If you know, how high does your cooler (whatever size it is) sit in relation to the gunwales when off of the front deck and on the floor of the boat?
