Had a lowrance gen2 w navionics on the last boat and loved it. On my current boat i have a garmin gps. Ive looked at the blue charts for louisiana bayous and it seems to be out dated compared to navionics. Has anyone used the blue charts and think otherwise?

I have a garmin 720s gps but unable to find a card. Do they not make one for this unit?

A quick search on their website confirms they have a card, I guess I should text you back

if your gps will accept the Louisiana bayou chip, that's the best as it is a satellite image.
Garmin won't allow you to use a navionics chip.

Called garmin. As luck would have it, the model I have does not accept the garmin line of chips and they do not plan to make one for this model in the future. Good times!

I used to be a Garmin fanboy in the 2000s but lowrance has become so user friendly, and with the ease of making maps or buying cards, it's a no brainer for me to go with lowrance.
