I honestly even remember at this point in time. The thread has taken a turn, imagine that. If I said he was trespassing, I apologize. I do not know one way or another.

This is partially true, but you can be held liable, criminally and civilly, if you put a wire across a road with the intent to maim or kill somebody trespassing on your property. You can't put punji sticks or IEDs on your property, either.

However, IRT to kid killed in Georgia, this sounds more like a tragic accident and nothing malicious.
