Plowed ground near water.

Fresh clear cuts.

Freshly graded dirt roads.

All of the above after a good rain is best

Walking sandy bottomed lakes when water is low.

I'm sure you are aware of this grease, but keep it on private property or the state will take it from you and issue a fine. New Law, four or five years old. No man made artifacts over fifty years old can be taken from state lands including shore lines. I've hunted the St. Johns all my life for artifacts and the game wardens have cracked down and really prosecute this now.

I'll never quit hunting them but you have to be careful.

Go walk a logging site after a rain but before the grass and weeds start regrowing. They are easy to spot for some people, tough for others for some reason.

It's one I made out of the bottom of a platinum beer bottle.

Been practicing on glass to get better before trying flint.

Pressure flaking? If you know someone that works for FPL in Macclenny, get them to give you a couple of feet of #6 & #4 Hard drawn copper wire. Cut it about 5 - 6" long and embed it into a wooden handle, sharpen the protruding end. Hard drawn Copper wire offers the perfect amount of drag on flint, for pressure flaking.

I'm an Indian expert and there are many artifacts in the surrounding desert in Arizona where I inhabit. It looks like you've come across a great find. I would document where and when you found it. It's an amazing feeling to know that you are holding a tool that has crushed skulls and sent enemies to the creator.

Nice find!

I've never had much luck with arrowheads but I did find a Mastadon knee bone somewhere in the loess hills north of Baton Rouge. It was on a school field trip, we used rakes to break up the loess and look for anything interesting.

Farming here in north Alabama close to the Tennessee river my family has found hundreds of great points. Here is one I found while running a cotton picker that is similar to the one you found.
