They said I could just put my RV in the back.

Seems fair. (shrugs)

Goes a lot faster when they remove the cab. Much easier to work. Two good techs can have a cab off in 1-1.5hrs

Well, on the positive side, I can do car reviews on 2015 Tahoe and 2016 Explorers.

My suggestion is to do what I did and cut your losses and get a new truck. I know that sounds easy for me to say, as it's not my money, but I truly didn't have a good outcome with mine. That said, the 2013 they replaced it with sucked also with an incurable death wobble, but at least I felt like they made me whole again with a new truck. With the 2011 that had been torn to pieces-- it was like a wrecked vehicle to me. It opened a huge can of worms. Right now as they're dicking off with your truck that THEY screwed up, you have actual bargaining power. Use the leverage, make them pay you retail for yours and then 10-11off a new one.

I see your point and I'm starting to lose patience.

I really want a 2017 and don't want to buy or come out of pocket for a 2016.

When I finally settled down and decided I was going to keep my truck after they put the new engine in, I went to pick it up and it wouldn't start. Starter spun but nothing. That was the last straw. If they can't change oi, they damn sure can't change a motor.

EGR valve.

I just ran it all over town and seems good.

Gonna light the tires up and when I get to a good spot just to make sure it will still do it.

I do like that new motor smell.

Well, it's a sold engine and I plan on buying a 2017, if nothing don't break or come untied.

The truck ran perfect for 60K.

I personally feel like it was run w/o oil and that's what caused the issue. If I felt like the problem was common, I'd pass on 'em.

thoughts on the 6.4? found one the other day for a decent price, but no truck nuts or salt life sticker so it was probably taken care of

The 6.4 power stroke is the worst Diesel engine ever put in a pickup truck.
