I'm on your side on this one, NF. I've had 4 Mopar vehicles since 1979, all bought new. Still have three of em and they run well. What NF ain't telling yall is that insurance is also cheaper on the Dodge trucks, especially theft insurance. Look in the newspaper and all you ever see that gets stole is Ford and Chevy. Won't nobody steal a Dodge.

That is because the person stealing your truck does not have available funds to repair whatever is wrong with your dodge.

You may have a point there! I was checking the fluid levels on Mama BFIV's van when I discovered that I couldn't even check the tranny fluid level. Hafta take it to the dealer for that! There is no measuring stick, just a little cap over the filler tube that says "Dealer Use Only". That ticked me off. And you can't even get to the plugs without taking off half of the top of the engine. My old workhorse '79 Powerwagon is a different story. I can actually see the engine and everything around it. Everything is easy to get to and you can actually see the ground underneath from the topside. Good carb mechanics are getting harder to find, though.
