I dunno if this is the best place but it seems like it. I am putting up Bead Board in my kitchen and borrowed an air compressor and nail gun from a friend. Long story short, in transit the nut that connects the the hose fitting and pressure gauge to the housing snapped leaving the threads behind and stuck. I don't know what to do, I was taking the parts off to try to take them somewhere to get fixed and broke another small, strangely specific nut of which I can't get a picture. Basically, am I going to have to buy a new one for this guy? It's only a 2hp, 4 gallon compressor so it shouldn't be terribly expensive, I just feel bad.

Original setup:

Broken piece part 2, the other side of where it attaches:

They make extractors but you may be able to take some needle nose pliers, stick them inside then open the pliers- putting pressure on the inside of that fitting, and back it off (unscrew it).

Its a little different. Had two threaded male ends. The piece I am holding then screws onto it. Basically I have two broken males threads stuck inside two female threads.

It's not a camo wedding band, it's black steel thats a little scratched up.

The other piece I broke is a very specific double hexagonal nut with space in the middle for a plastic regulator. Seems like it would impossible to find since I can't even find parts for this compressor listed online. It is a Mech Power M9002.

The part with the gauge is the regulator assembly Forget trying to unscrew the broken off pieces of pipe because they probably have pipe dope on them and it will be nearly impossible to unscrew. The regulator is prob only 25$ so just buy a new one. Now as far as the brass piece post more pics because I still can't figure out what it is.

I can't really post anymore pics thatveill make it any clearer. In the very first picture there is a large black housing above where the regulator connects. The brass piece is the top of where the brass line from the tank comes into that black housing. Not sure what it's for, I can't even get that brass line to disconnect.

the first just looks like a close nipple between the regulator and housing...you can probably get it out with an ezout like the one shown...

not sure what the last is or how to get that out...
