Me and my buddy (we 18) rolling to Rigolets area tomorrow trying catch the usual suspects, trout and reds. Wondering if any of you more experienced posters could help direct me to the fish... Winds supposed to be steady from the North all morning. Any info is greatly appreciated. right now the plan is to find protected shoreline and fish with shrimp and plastic, but i tried the West side of 90 last week on a hard east wind and only managed a few reds and a nice flounder.

thanks in advance!

The 18 plus rule hasn't been a problem for me so far this year if you have a decent fake. Im sure it has always been this way.

I always wonder why this board hates on the fact that a kid asks for advice from older outdoorsman. This is why the sport is dying, fellas.

You do realize that a trout and a speck are the same thing right?

1. Not nearly as many kids participate in fishing as to would think. I go to school with 900 guys about 50 are avid outdoorsman- maybe.

2. Yes I know a "speck" and "trout" are the same thing. I was making a joke about the GPS coordinates of the aquarium.
