Fishing the red river in the morning

Kinda late- specially for a Friday. I've never fished up nawth but assume you know to hit the oxbows.

A buddy and I used to fish from the banks where the Haven channel opens up to the river. Tore up the catfish at that dropoff. We would see bass fishermen go up the canal every day catching nice bass up in there. If you don't want to fish the channel then go south
