Wind told isolunar to GTFO of chauvin on Saturday. Four fish day meant exactly that...

I been saying this over and over and even my buddy didnt listen until this weekend.

Downsize the bait and move it about 1 foot at a time and very slow then let it sit about 5 seconds repeat...

I assume we are talking about bass....

Yeah. That's the one time out of 100 that the four fish day failed.

This, fishing has been very tough for everyone I know. Just have to slow down, slumps happen, dont let it get you down. Keep at it and you will get back on em.

The fish bite every day, just not what you are serving.

How's that for encouragement?

I went in the yak 4 times, not a single bite. Then, this past weekend actually caught 1 fish and had a couple other small bumps. Persistence is everything.

I'm glad you're persistent,, but I hope you ain't got too many mouths to feed on that "persistence",, those bumps ain't real filling.

Gonna take the yak out again today after work. I should be able to boat 2 today. I'll be good to go by late May at this rate!

You guys in LA/MS better be happy for your comparably mild weather.

Since I moved to North Arky, mild Spring days where fishing should be good can easily get ruined by cold rains that freeze the fishing completely.

Anxiously awaiting top-water fishing, myself.

I think it has been a product of the shitty weather flipping back and forth.

I have been about 5 times, and only 2 of those trips had 1 fish caught.

I am looking forward to some hot weather and topwater action.

Grand bayou cured my fishing slump, now I just need to find a cure for the tournament slump. Nothing but middle of the pack finishes so far this year.

I do well in the one on the Rapides/Avoyelles border. I'd call it by it's local name, but then I'd get banned.
