Does anyone have any recommendations for fishing charters out of New Orleans?

How close do you want to be to the city?
Assuming a day trip from there the two that come to mind are Theophile Bourgeois in Lafitte and Capt. Charlie Thomasson in Delacroix/Hopedale area.
If you want to go a bit further Venice and area is nice but about 1.5 hours from new orleans.

What kind of fishing are you looking to do?
If inshore speckled trout and redfish is what you're after, call Capt Hil Wegener: LINK.
He is located less than 30 minutes from downtown NOLA and is awesome. I fished with him in February and had a great time.

Just got home from another day of GREAT fishing on Lake Pontchartrain.
Tomorrows trip cancelled and I have an opening for someone to catch plenty speckled trout !
