We had a 6 man limit of specks, canadas, and ducks by 8:30 this morning. Absolute smackdown.

They haven't molted yet. We shot quite few green heads. Even shot 18 pintail and all the drakes looked like hens except the bill

ah I figured up north they would be ahead of the game with molting. I thought it went off of temperature and not time of year

Molting is mostly controlled by daylight. When the days get shorter they will start to molt.

Fun looking trip!
I've got a friend up there now that posted 50 mallards and 6 pintails in 90 minutes.

I'm going at the end of the month.
