Financing custom built boat

Looking into having a custom aluminum rig built. Anyone go this route and finance it? Just interested in who you used and how much of a pain in arse of a process is it?

If you have good credit, use lightstream. It's insane how easy it is.

Lightstream is very easy. Take some pictures of your pay stubs, email them and bam!

How much are you talking OP? The others' are talking about basically doing a personal loan. How legit of a boat maker are you talking about? Because they may know of some options, or at least should also.

Looking at about a $40k 22 x 7 bay boat . I've got usaa and Navy Federal to fall back on. Just wondering if there were some others I shoukd check before I commit.
