Fighting Tiger Kayak Fishing Club

Hey guys just wanted to give an update.
We finished the constitution and submitted it so we are waiting to officially become a club. We're planning on attending the Outcast tournament at Island Marina (Point Aux Chene) this Saturday. You can check out the details at bckfc.com
We will hold our first public meeting on Thursday the 11th. I will post back with the time and location. We have enough members so far to create one five man team in the salt water division but will creat multiple if we can. There is also a bass division if anyone is interested.
Email me at jimbeamTD@gmail.com if you are an LSU student and interested in joining the club. I will update this thread as we progress.

We have 7 for sure as of now. It looks as though there are lots interested though. I'm hoping once we get it established, those on the edge will join.

Here are the details for the first "gathering of like minded students". Due to some paper work problems we were unable to get a room in the union as planned for this week.
Instead, this Thursday we will meet in front of CEBA by Pierre's Landing from 7-7:15 then find an empty classroom or just grab some tables outside of Pierre's Landing depending on the amount of people that show up. The main topics of the "gathering" will be an intro to the club, discussion of possible events for the future club, getting everyone on the email list, and discussion of team competition.

To anyone interested in joining that has not, or anyone who is interested in just seeing what our club is all about, we are holding a club meeting this Thursday April 11 from 7-8 pm in the Feliciana Room of the LSU student union. We will be discussing what we have accomplished so far this season and what the future holds in store.
I know there has been a kayak-influx lately. It would be great to see all of your faces there!
