Any ideas? Nothing major, but want it to look good. No need to recommend that I do it... I've messed up a smaller one in the past.

Is Lafayette close enough? I had fiberglass and gelcoat repair done there, VERY satisfied with the results. Will be able to find the name and contact info when I get home if you are interested.

There was a guy next to the highland road park tennis courts years ago that did great work.

Don't know if he is still in business.

Let me check out the guy in Livingston. If that doesn't pan out, I'll check the one in Lafayette.

I know the area, but don't recall seeing a shop of any sort near there lately.

Call David Wade Marine. I think he has a guy that goes to his shop once a week or so.

Any idea how he charges? I have a 2003 22 foot glastron that could use a fresh gelcoat

We use Willis at Southern Marine Specialists.

Lyle is very good but too far for us to use.

Dear’s is good too but only does insurance jobs now.

Thanks. You’re the second person who referred this guy behind Home Depot. Was also told most of wildlife and fisheries issues are sent to him as well.

I've used Doug at D&T. His work is excellent and he is very quick getting your boat back to you. Bubba Dear is awesome but insurance/warranty claims take precedence over your boat...a friend's boat was there almost 6 months getting a transom replaced. I have pics of before and after of some stress crack repairs D&T did to my boat if you want me to email you (or look on there facebook page pics for red and white bay boat).
