Well, a few reasons baw. But if you base "weakness" on energy transfer he would be correct.

I would marry the 9mm.

The others look a little worn out . . . if you know what I'm saying.

Like they've spent a little too much time at the firing range.

Like they've taken more than their share of shots.

I carry both 9mm and 45acp based in clothing, time of year etc. Both will get the job done. However, in actual field use the 45 gets the nod in AAR's from .mil and cops in fire fight situations.

Carry what you like, feel comfortable with, and train with. Period.

But just cause...

Just like she said, size does matter.

I keep a .22 mag revolver with the hammer on a empty chamber in the truck. It hasn't been shot in over a year.

What I don't like about these studies is that they don't factor in that improvement in technology doesn't apply only to the 9mm.

With bullet technology the 38 special +p round is now a pretty good round for self defense.

Found this beauty.

•Caliber: 38 Special
•Bullet Weight: 125 Grains
•Bullet Style: Speer Bonded Jacketed Hollow Point

•Muzzle Velocity: 1200 fps
•Muzzle Energy: 400 ft. lbs.

I don't come over here often. A little too serious for me sometimes.

Size matters if you have trouble hitting the sweet spot...

For those that read this technical along with the volumes and volumes of research that has been done on this topic it's a no brainer why the 9mm is chosen. Even with the advances applied to other calibers the 9mm presents a technically more lethal package as a whole.

Naw, there is a reason USSOCOM and MARSOC are all about the 45acp.

SEALs carry the P226, Army SF carry M9's and M11's. Seems they aren't all about the .45 ACP.

Lulz, you wrong.

Don't be mad that dudes who know how to kill still choose a 1911 in 45acp.

And all these bros are practicing with their new hotness, marsoc 1911 in 45american.

And back in '91 the SF guarding Stromin Norman rocked 1911's too.

Also everyone knows 45acp blows up Tigers.
