This gallon of white lightnin my boss gave me last week is doing the trick pretty well.

I agree about MM. I think it gets a lot of "novelty" points. Jim Beam is just a workin mans whiskey and doesn't get the love that some of the others do.

As you would guess, makers is my go-to drink for the football and hunting seasons...it has a hint of sweetness that I really like...

two additional favorites of mine are knob creek and woodford reserve...woodford has the best aroma of the three, but not quite the sweetness that I like...

ETA: I am looking forward to hunting down your way around christmas this year...
