What do yall like? My Shimano is about shot, so I'm in the market for a new one. I would like one thats durable, waterproof, lots of space, and most important one that I don't need and extra 5HP to tote with me.

I have a academy tournament choice one, one of the smaller ones. Replaced the shitty boxes with Plano pro latch boxes. It's neither waterproof nor does it have a lot of space

My saltwater box is in the cheapest Calcutta bag they make, the one without a top Calcutta makes some really nice and waterproof tackle bags, but they'll cost ya

I have the big tournament choice bag from academy and like it, it was only like $30. It only sees saltwater and has held up fine.

I bought my tournament choice one for $20, and a month later the big tourney choice ones were on sale for $20

At the rate I accumulate tackle if I don't slow down I'll have to upgrade soon

I have one of the small tourney choice binder type ones ones with the bags inside of it. Great for \ when you don't need the bulk of a fullsize.

I have to say that my cheap Tournament Choice actually turned out to be a good bag. I've used the shite out of it. I have about 30 lbs of tackle in it and no problems after two years.

I really like the H2O bags from Academy. They are fairly priced and look pretty sweet. Will most likely be the next one I buy.

My only problem with the tourney choice bag was the boxes that came with it fit loose (hooks moved around in them) and you were limited in the way you could split them up, which limited space. I replaced them all with Plano pro latch boxes, and I even substituted one box for two slim pro latch boxes so I have an extra box in it, and I also put a double sided small Plano box for all my bream stuff. I'm amazed at the amount of stuff I fit it in, I just ended up needing a second bin to put all my bags of soft plastics. And this is the small bag, I couldn't imagine filling up one of the bigger ones.

I just have a generic bag from Academy that holds four or five plastic cases inside. They usually last a few years then when the zippers freeze I get a new one. i don't see any point to buying a $100 Shimano bag.

ETA: I use my college back pack for my offshore gear.

I use this one from Bass Pro. 35 bucks without the boxes

LINK

Five 370 boxes fit very snug and secure in there. I have 40 or so packs of soft plastics in the frong pocket, a spinnerbait box in the big side pocket, and line spools and other misc stuff in the other side pocket. Zippers are strong as well was worth the money for sure.

I have that exact bag, but it is literally falling to pieces after years of hard use. I may buy another one. Only thing I don't like is it's not waterproof.
