I recently noticed that I was missing the end of the handle butt on one of my Falcon Rods. Hoping to be able to purchase a replacement part,I looked up Falcon Rods on the internet. I clicked on the contact tab and found a phone number for Falcon in Broken Arrow, OK. I called the number and a real live person answered.

After telling her what I was looking for, she took my name, phone number, and address and said that they would ship the cork end for my rod to me free of charge. That's what I call customer service!

Loved my Falcon Rod until it snapped in 3 places on a 22in redfish...Falcon wanted me to ship it to them and give them a check to ship it back to me. Ha not happening..

Returned it to Academy..bought another castaway rod.

Academy is the answer. Their rod selection has gone to hell though. Very few rods that are not All Star or Castaway. Those 2 brands make up over half of their selection.

Your right downrightdave. They don't carry the falcon bucoo spinning rods anymore. Check out the Lew's rods. I really like them so far and the price tag isn't bad at all!

Falcons Originals are my favorite, but it seems that all I use now is St. Croix. Never can find an Original when it's time.

I broke a micro bucoo. $65 and they send you a new one. Since fishing Falcon rods I like them as much as the AllStars

It's the best all around rod I've ever owned.

Strong enough to bring in a 23 lb cobia and mangroves on the rigs.
edit to say I've caught those mangroves and cobia off of that rod...I wouldn't make it a habit...

Yet, has enough touch to pick up a soft trout bite in the middle of winter out in point a la hache.

Mine too, have 6 so I hadn't looked lately, but Professional Sport Shop in NOLA has a wide selection. Last time I looked they were the same price as Academy.

Broke the tip on mine while fishing but not the rod's fault.

Falcon originals are my favorite also. Never broken one on a fish, but did lose two to a car window (wasn't my doing). I've bought several at [link=(www.fishfreakonline.com)]www.fishfreakonline.com[/link]
for $70 each.
