Today on the 4th I went out on a buddy of mines 24' Everglades with a Suzuki 4 stroke 250. It was a really nice boat. I was wondering what others thought of this boat brand. I have to say, I was impressed. What do you think?

They are the Cadillac of offshore boats.
Not the biggest fan of their bay boats though.

My cousin pulled up to the houseboat in a 29' w 2 300's today.
He got it a few weeks ago, and made some good snapper trips, and today picked up some trout and reds. He said it does 57, and I know he covered some ground today to come say hi where we were.
He bought it used from the Destin area, and got a great deal on it. It's an '08 I believe, and he may have said the motors had 400 hrs, but some work had been done on the lower units. Fully loaded with all the bells and whistles, and looked brand new today, for sure.
It's the first one I've ever laid eyes on.

Aren't those the uber expensive bay boats that their genius design team omitted a casting deck on? Yeah no thanks.

When I buy an offshore boat it will be one of the few mono hull boats I consider.

Never taken a ride in one, but I've been in a 35' CC and taken a look in a friends dad's 24' bay boat. They have every bell and whistle in them. But I've heard they don't really perform better than other boats to justify the price tag they have. You're just paying for the gadgets and whatnot. Just what I've heard.

16" draft and 3500# w/o engine just seem like way too much for a bay boat.

Fished Venice this spring in one. Can't say I was overly impressed by its performance considering its price. Also, as above poster stated, the absence of a bow deck for fishing made it not ideal for a bay boat.
