essentially got a sd40ve for $30

Bought a colt 1908 vest pocket hammerless 25 auto from a drunk friend for $30. My uncle and I are making a trade.

I would have sold the colt outright and then bought the sd....never mind I would have kept the pony. I'm a sucker for that horse.

Sd40ve is. Copy of a Glock, of which I am a fan. So much so in fact that s&w lost A lawsuit to Glock and have to pay Glock for each one sold.
The problem with then is the trigger. It's about a 10+ pound trigger pull with no way to lighten it up.

That's not an awful gun. I think some are thinking of the sigma which is indeed an awful gun. The sd has a trigger that needs to lightened but it's generally reliable.
