Thinking about driving south tomorrow and hitting Elmer's. Is the sand still soft. Last time I went I had to hit the soft stuff hard to push through. Just wondering if Im gonna run into the same problem. Thanks.

I haven't been since Sunday, but it was harder than it had been. Still soft though.

I watched a Mini Cooper blow past a tundra and a Chevy buried in the sand. Not to hijack, but what's you're opinion on best place to watch people get stuck, the western edge at the pipe or the eastern access. It's funny to watch guys with those pretty trucks that are scared to drive them because they might damage a light bar or something on lift kit and the bury them to bumper.

I drive a Ford and Im headed to Elmers at the end of the month. I'm just hoping YOURADHERE is around with a couple bungee cords and a danger ranger!!

ETA: 1st time actually driving on Elmers, dont plan on having a thread made about having my truck pulled out

I was there yesterday and people (trucks) were getting stuck as you come off the dirt road just before you get to the wetter sand near the water. Maybe saw 10 cars and trucks get stuck with a truck standing by to pull them out...after charging $100.

If you are worried, air down to 15-20 psi.
