What's a good brand ecollar or specific collar? Not looking to buy the best but a good, quality collar. Thanks

What do you need from a collar specifically?

The garmin collars are my choice. They bought tri-tronics

I still use old Tri tronics which IMO are superior to the Garmin models now.

From what I have seen I would either get a Dogtra or Garmin now or see if the collar clinic has a refurbished unit.

Sportdog, Garmin, or Dogtra. All three are quality. I've used all three pretty extensively and never had issues.

Used Tri-tronics before and had good luck. Using a Sport Dog currently and have no complaints so far.

Doesn't matter all that much. Any of the recommended are fine. I have had one of each. No complaints

Team Dogtra. We've have a 200 Gold that is about 12 years old. Been thru 3 sets of batteries. Can't speak for newer models, but ours just keeps on ticking. The three functions of nick, constant, & vibrate is all I've needed. Been years since anything but vibrate has been used/needed to get her attention. No pics
