Making a trip Saturday and trying to figure out best place to fish. Want to pull a few reds out the pass, but can't decide where else to try.
Bay Junop, Caillou lake/bay, Last Island? Anyone have a good report for the area they mind sharing? I'm thinking decade will probably be dead as well as anything else that far inshore.
TIA

Been seeing all the guides on social media SLAMMING the reds inshore, but obviously don't know where. People are still catching fish on the beaches and the big reds have been pretty thick out there, but lots of small trout to be had.
eta: they cheat anyway

Caught a bunch of reds last Saturday in the deep bayous off of the main lakes. Cracked crabs did the trick.

Yup. I'll be happy just being on the water.

It's no naughty star, but still a nice boat. We have similar tastes

thanks baw, and yea I love them too. they ride awesome and fish great even with four people. its just a well layed out boat. I looked at the 21 xts but fished in one and didn't like the ride or layout, but they are fine boats as well. CP3 please catch some fish in that unit!

I fished last weekend in lake decade hunting club. We limited out on some bruiser reds two days in a row. Also a few decent black drum.

Thinking about trying to run out to some of the closer rigs...
if the weather is as good as projected.

Yeah I think my plans changed to coon point and nearby rigs. 5-10 knots and 2ft or less is forecast
