I bought a UrikaII x-tra grain or whatever and I can hands down shoot it better than any of my other shotguns. I only use it when hunting in "clean" conditions.

Rarely do I hunt in those conditions. That is the only thing stopping me from buying from buying the A400 with the wood stock.

That's why I go with the SBE II in Mossy Oak Shadowgrass

Yes sir there is a such thing. When the river is just right I can launch and hunt wearing house shoes if I want. I have a door to the dog box and I will not open to take the bird until I hear the dog shake.

IMO, The average guy that comes on here asking these questions will not wear a gun out. People don't hunt enough these days. Just go fondle all of them and get the one that feels the best. I have BPS, Browning Gold, Beretta, Benelli, Winchester SX3, couple of Browning B-80's, Ruger red label O/U, Browning Citori O/U's. With that being said, I shoot the Beretta in the blind and the benelli when wading. Turkey hunt with the SX3. The rest I have so I can fondle nice shotguns in the privacy of my own home.

It appears that you need a 870.

You know... the only thing I've ever really had against the SBEII was the stupid crap it has on the stock. Never saw a wood one before, that thing looks pretty nice. I could see myself owning one.

Yep...one of the new UGA fans that joined SECRant today. I love duck hunting although the duck hunting sucks in Georgia. You got room in your blind?

That wood grain one is fine!

You do realize what that "stupid crap" is don't you?

There are more individually moving parts in a Benelli (ID system). Generally speaking, a gas operated gun will outperform an inertia driven gun when they are equally dirty (very, very dirty). One of the main issues with a gas operated firearm is that they become faulty when it gets extremely cold (colder gas creates issues).
