Did yall notice the picture of the duck on the link. Looks like a cross between and Mottled Duck and Greenhead. Funny looking thing

Mottled. White margins on wing = mottled

thats a hen mallard. hen mallards have the white bars on their wings. mottled duck wings look like this

It's a mallard drake in eclipse pase(molt).

Definitley not a mottled duck. Mottled ducks only have a faint white line and the bottom of their wings. Its got a yellow drake bill but the feet are not bright orange/red like a mallard drake or mottled duck drake. They look like Grey Duck feet

Thats a Gadwall. No question about it.

Can't wait to get up Saturday morning. Cutting out of the Christmas party early so I don't get too drunk.

Bringing a fishing line and ice chest with me to catch some reds and specs hopefully.

I have plans to have too many Fri night at the camp, but similarly, I plan to be after a limit of "green trout" after my duck limit
