I've been considering getting into reloading my shotgun shells. I've done a little research but most of the equipment for sale will only goe as big as 3" shells. I'm wanting to reload 3 1/2". Does anyone here do that? Where did you find the press and how much was it. Thanks for any help.

used to reload my own....when steel shot came along, it was no longer cost effective so I stopped.

me and bro-in-law did several years ago. it isn't worth it now to reload for practice rounds. we calculated we were saving 50 cents per 25 rounds. however, we did come up with some few loads that really effective for big ducks.
the savings just aren't there unless you are shooting A LOT

If you do, check the pawn shops for equipment.

At least when I was looking shotshell reloading equipment was all any of them had.

I reload for clays or skeet but have never considered reloading for duck/goose loads. I know a few people that do but IMO it is not cost effective or in reality w/ modern steel loads its not necessary. I would find the loads that you like and buy them on sale and I bet you will get them for the same price as reloads especially when you factor in time. You will likely need a mec steel single stage loader and it takes 6 operations to make a single shell.
Last year I bought a case of hevimetal loads for $229 on sale and hevitmetal had a $50 rebate so $179 + tax. By the time you buy a reloader, powder, shot etc and find 3 or 3.5 shells you will be in for a lot more. If you really want to do it go ahead, it can be done there is equipment and load recipes out there but for the limited amount of shooting most of us do for ducks/geese its not worth it.

Its barely worth it for me to reload for skeet/clays but my son and daughter shoot so I go thru 2 kegs of powder a yr and I reload 500+ rounds while watching a hockey/football game. I have a progressive MEC reloader or I wouldn’t do it. When you add up the number of rounds I go thru in a year its a cost saving but probably not if you include my time.

Thanks for the replies. I really wasn't wanting to save money, more into building a turkey she'll that I think would be better. I was wanting to drop down the shot size and compare it to how many shots I'm putting in with regular shells I use now. I will check the pawn shops. Appreciate it.
