It's millions of years old when it comes out of the ground... What's another decade and a half?

Made from dead dinosaurs. How can it go bad?

Down there it's not exposed to oxygen. I'm sure it has to do with oxidation. I wouldn't use it just buy some new oil.

What would it cost to replace the power head if you do decide to use it. just think about that real good for awhile.

Make sure you shake it up real good. I've been told that the platelets will fall out and go to the bottom. The gentleman that told me this buys 55 gal. Drums from quicksilver and that he has to agitate it once a week to keep this from happening

Yes. All motor oils have a shelf life of approx 3-5 yrs. I wouldn't use it in my lawnmower much less a outboard.

I'm running at least 10 year old Super Tech oil in my 20 year old Yamaha Waverunner. The oil gets a shake every time I hit a wake

I would think if it has been in a sealed container never exposed to air it should be ok.

Now I am nervous. My dad found a large container of quick silver oil in his garage which I know is old. I put it next to my new oil, but I don't remember which is the new oil.
