Deer Smugglers

Canned hunts aren't my thing but I guess some people will do anything for a trophy deer.

If you mean cracking down on the spread of cws, no. They aren't going to stop it from getting into the landmass deer population by regulating managed hunts.

bottom line is, the citizens of mississippi voted in an election last year not to allow such things to take place in the state...and if anyone wants to circumvent that, then they risk facing the consequences....

Seems like they knowingly broke a law and got caught.

I don't see the issue if it's privately owned fenced land.

I've never heard any issues with this. Can someone comment on a few incidents they've witnessed where a wildlife enclosure brought in deer from other regions with devastating effects to the local area?

Why do you think the biologists would make this up? Just to ruin your fun?

I don't know anything about the disease they're talking about, but diseases can easily spread through fences, no matter how high they are.

Already been a thread on this but these guys got their issue. Whether you agree with a law or not, if you risk breaking it be prepared to face the consequences

Sounds like they have their asses. The law seems kinda dumb though when you could simply have deer brought in tested to show they aren't infected with either.
