Anyone have one of these or ridden in one of these? Thoughts?

Looked at that boat for a while and really liked it. Then I came across the Blue Wave Hybrid and went that route. The Crevalle is a really nice boat IMO.

Best friend that lives in Texas has one. Incredible boat, fit and finish are top notch. He takes it out for snapper and mackerel runs regularly as well as the standard Trump boat parade etc. No joke he has a treefiddy Suzuki on it.

Only issue I am aware of is some sort of lower unit lock up when it was fairly new and he was offshore. Had to have seatow drag him in.

There is a long post on hull truth about a complete transom failure on one. It’s worth a read if you are about to drop $150k on one.

If in that market, I’d buy a Contender 25T and throw a trolling motor on it. Has essentially the same draft, more storage, more freeboard and much more offshore capable.

Edit: Chris Bazor who owns Grander Marine in OBA used to sell these boats. He had a lot of initial input in design. He dropped them after the transom issue and the company’s unwillingness to do the right thing, per my understanding.

Yes I do.

Been busy building a house. It's been a river cruiser lately.

Have you looked at the Black Jack 256 Coastal version?

In that price range I would take a look at the 26' sea cat hybrid, bad arse boats for the LA coast.

Do some research on the SeaCat...I have not heard a single good word about them.

I have a 256 Bay and love it... the coastal wasn't available when I purchased mine or I very well may have considered it.

Didn't know that, just fished on one over the summer and it was really nice, it was however brand spanking new.

If you are looking for a boat that can do it all - the Blue Wave Hybrid is it. We looked long and hard at a lot of different options (Crevalle, Contender, Blackjack, etc.).

They do look great. Blazer has a 27 foot hybrid now as well. Pathfinder has a 27 hybrid but I think it runs around $200k.

if I was looking at that style boat and budget, I would consider the blue wave 28 makaira with twins or 350, or the bay version. also the pathfinder 2500 hybrid, and the blackjack coastal 256. the new blazer 2700 is nice as well.

crevalle are nice boats, super heavy but you don't see a lot for a reason here im sure.
