My LE dealer is taking names for the waiting list already. He's saying blue label price is $358.

Im calling GT distributors and Gulf States distributors on Monday to get a second opinion.

On 12 February, Mas made a very pointed comment on glocktalk that seems to substantiate the rumor.

Been hearing this for a long time. I'll stick with my CM9.

It will have to be slightly larger than the 42 but I'm okay with that as long as it's 7+1.

Will it be same size as 42 and how much will it weigh?

I'm betting it's the size of the Shield.

Probably not. I've taken a 9mm round and attempted to place in a 42 magazine and feed it up the magazine well. It does not fit so that leads me to believe it will be more than simply a barrel change and according to my estimations about 1mm thicker than a G42.

My dealer claims IWA, but I've also heard NRA and IFT. No matter what it seems the G43 is going to be unveiled prior to Q1FY16.

do you have a 42?
any comments good/bad?

I've been waiting for the single stack 9mm...I'll keep my 23 as a truck/pack/nightstand gun and hope to carry the 43

I just can't get comfortable carrying the 23

Yes I do and I love it. I have the upgraded frame and magazines though and it's been 100% out of the box with over 1000 rounds through it at this point. It is not my primary I carry it as a BUG in a superfly with either my 23 or 19 IWB.

Yep, I'd recommend waiting for the upgraded version of the 9 for that reason. The first round of 42's had a few bugs.

It's very picky when it comes to limp wristing, but I've also seen a few problems with the new trigger bar design.
It's just not the point and shoot reliability that Glock has always been known for.

Several FTF reports, some are due to limp wristing but the gun is very finicky with ammo it's been reported. Mine eats anything given to it. Also there were reports of pre-mature slide lock back. That has been pretty much shown to be since the frame is so much smaller people are hitting the slide release with their thumbs unknowingly.

Still rumors till I actually see something from glock themselves. Has been nothing but speculation for a year almost, since they released the g42.

I would like to see it though, 9mm is much cheaper than .380. I do love my g42 though

I've seen the gun issues first hand. It's hard to explain, but the trigger bar is different than all other Glocks. Part of the trigger bar hooks under another part. The trigger bar was constantly jumping on top of that hooked piece and rendering the pistol inoperable.

That seems high fit this market. The competition is all around that without special pricing
