Colt Walker 1847 Reproduction (Uberti Opinion)

I'm looking at possibly buying a Colt Walker 1847 reproduction. I have no experience with the Uberti brand. Just curious if anyone here has an opinion on them. I have read all the reviews that I can find on them. I'd like to get the Outdoor Board's opinion on them.
A guy at our club meeting did a presentation on Colt Walkers a few weeks ago and I have been enamored with them since. I don't have $900K laying around to purchase an original CW in terrible condition to sit over my fireplace... So, I figured I could buy a cheaper, shootable version and pretend I'm a badass cowboy at the range every once in a while. TIA

I've got one and I love it. Fun as the dickens to shoot. I usually put 40 grains of powder behind the ball. It's a heavy handgun, so recoil is not bad at all.
Edited to add: IF I had an orignal Colt Walker, shooter or not, it would be in a safe!

There were Colt licensed reproductions made in the 70's - 80's with superior fit and finish. Look on gunbroker.

My FIL has a 2nd gen. from 1976 that has never been fired. I think it is a heritage edition. It's outside of my price range. I've recently joined a local antique gun club and I am fascinated with the history behind some of these guns. We do several shoots throughout the month and I want something relatively cheap, but reliable to participate in the cowboys shoots we have.

Then go with the Uberti.
