Anyone around the 56/57 jct, a tornado touched down. Damage was done, power is out, they had 9" of rain so not sure how good the roads are. Heading down earliest.

Thanks for the heads up. We are on TouLouLou. Not sure when we can make it down. Try and take plenty pictures and update what you see.

Agreed. We're a handful of camps down past the 56/57 intersection on the marsh side of the road. Please post pics of that area.

We're about a quartermile south of Cecil Lapeyrouse. Any info on that area would be appreciated.

The locks are closed and there is water on the road south of the locks as of yesterday.

They closed all the locks in the parish i believe. Water was even on the road north of the locks by Mae Mae's snowball stand. I have seen a few pics from Cocodrie and Dularge on my facebook feed and it isn't pretty down there. They might as well have named this one and the next time we get something real it won't be nice.

Talked to my dad. We're north of the lock. Water under the camps and up to the road in some spots. Said looks like a tornado hit just north of the intersection, some small travel trailers flipped over, etc. didn't mention any other major damage. He sent some pics which were just. Showing water under our and neighboring camps. Nothing out of the ordinary for our area with regards to high water.

these are from Four Point Road. Ohface sent them to me.
Looks like the water came up about knee high across the road from the bayou at that blue camp. No tornadic activity that way.
