This is 100% correct.
This:
company will offer a 2.8-liter Duramax Turbo Diesel.
will make an impact.

Meh, Tacoma dominates that market and I don't see it changing anytime soon
Google should not have gotten into internet searching and phones because Yahoo and Apple dominated those markets.
you are a fricktard.

Would love throw that 2.8 Duramax in my '05 Tacoma, talk about ultimate durability.
Won't be long before Toyota brings their AD diesel over from across the pond. Then the new Tacomas will cost as much as a freaking Lexus.
Probably keep this Tacoma up for my son one day, and just buy a new Dodge after all the kinks get worked out with the new EcoDiesel

not too bad...similar front as the current Tahoe...so I don't believe its a copy of the taco...

I REALLY hope they make a Trailblazer or Envoy based on this design.
The size of my 2004 Envoy is PERFECT for me. But I refuse to buy a new unibody crossover that is based on a FWD platform. RWD or 4x4 for me. No FWD or AWD.

The lower valance and fog light pockets are a pretty close copy of the Tacoma

I'll be surprised if they do. It doesn't meet EPA regulations and Toyota doesn't seem interested in altering it to make it comply. IMO the only way you'll see it is if the new Colorado and Ranger take a significant market share from the Tacoma.

I'm curious if the 2.8L is powerful enough to be a viable engine in a full sized truck. It's about as powerful as the 6.5L diesel from about 20 years ago.
I'd also love to see a Trailblazer based on this truck as well.
