Been fishing there when I was a kid. Can you hunt the lake and if so is it any good hunting. The only thing i remember is a lot of flooded timber. Looked like good hunting

I have heard it is ate up with Woodrows and the odd Grey Duck but it's typically a roosting situation. I think it's huntable but I don't know anybody personal that hunts out there except for some of them Bawcomville rednecks.

Yes, they have blinds out there. I've hunted it a few times out of Area 4 with a guy that had a blind for years. Big nice floater that you could hunt out of in your house shoes. We would kill some ducks, but it wasn't anything awesome. Usually a mixed bag of mallards, pintails, woodies and gads. Killed a Can out there one morning. It was the only duck killed that day. The awesome thing about it is how pretty the lake is and being able to catch monster sacacraperch on yoyo's whilst hunting.

Sounds about what we do on Wham, except we really pound the Green. No yo-yo running out there though for the sacacraperch. We just finish off a days hunt throwing Devil Horses for gars and grennels.

It's big. You can get turned around out there pretty easily.

Ya most of them old cypress lakes are hard as hell to navigate. I only go if someone knows it like the back of their hand
