Got a notice from Sportsman's Guide saying my "notify me when available" order for 40 grain solid point Mini Mags was being cancelled. -- said product no longer available.

Several message boards are posting the same info/question.

Quite a few stores (like Cabelas) still have in stock. Anybody know if CCI has really discontinued this stuff?

Hopefully CCI is going to new packaging, or some such minor change. If not, it may be time to snag some. While it's still available.

I bought two boxes at Walmart last week. Was happy to see shorts since haven't seen cci shorts in years or any brand shorts. Hope they haven't discontinued cuz those are my neighborhood yard armadilla whacker round used in my old colt single action :)

I just saw an ad this weekend for CCI Mini Mags. It was being advertised with Troy Landry on the box and it was named after his show or him or something. It was either Academy or Bass Pro but pretty sure Academy.

Got emails today from Sportsman's Guide saying the CCI 36 grain Mini Mags and the CCI 32 grain Stinger ammo are also discontinued.

Hard to believe Speer CCI would drop it's most popular .22 ammo, and equally hard to believe they're dropping out of the .22 ammo business.

As was noted, this ammo is still on some store shelves. But if it's fixing to be limited or unavailable, it may be time for those who don't have it to do some shopping (without resorting to stockpiling like we saw a couple of years ago ).

I use the Mini Mags primarily in the .22 conversion kit for G19's that I use when training new shooters. So I use a lot of it. I'd hate to see it disappear.

Waiting on report from Ace.

Heard from CCI directly today that they are specifically aware of this "messaging" from Sportsman's Guide and that they categorically deny it. They are making all the same rounds they made in 2016 in 2017 and are adding some more. They are making roughly 4,000,000 rounds of rimfire ammunition per day.

So, I figure about 6 more months all of TTT's backorders will be filled and we'll be good to go.

what was the quantity on the order?

mine was cancelled but it was for a 2500 round bulk pack.

maybe CCI quit doing that particular Qty pack...

a year or so ago they went from a 375 count chootem' box down to 300 count...same with the CCI tactical

could be something simple as this...
