Probably because those sports topics get pretty ridiculous. Its a giant ULL/LSU "mine's bigger than yours" kind of deal. Every once in a while someone will post outside of that forum in the general discussion. Stupid.

I'm still admin for LASM but haven't opened up the site in over a year now. Just full of to much stupidity.

But I agree, a lot of them are some serious head cases. But there are some that are above and beyond even the worst here.

My favorite part of that site is Capt Hoop's reports. I'd love the fish with him one day. He hasn't posted much lately.

So true. But one thing I liked about him were his detailed reports even if he didn't slay them. I really think he just likes cruising around and the fish are a bonus unless he has a charter. ETA- Who is he exactly? I've googled Capt Hoop Venice & not gotten anything.
