Thanks for the link. I plan on carrying during the day as we walk around (gonna do the WW2 Museum on Friday). I am a big stickler for only playing with 2 out of 3 of guns, booze, and ammo. So no carrying when we go out. And obviously no carrying at the game itself.

But again -- I don't go to N.O. unless I absolutely have to.

Jesus, you're pathetic.

I can't imagine living my life in such fear.

Here's a clue, if you're concerned about getting busted by the cops for having a gun in New Orleans, just don't carry. You'd be AMAZED at the number of people that have gone there without carrying a gun and lived to tell about it.

So you think conceal carrying a firearm = fear?

Just a heads up, lots of tourist attractions have metal detectors and no guns allowed policy. I cant remember if WW2 is one of them but Ive had to turn around and leave gun in vehicle several times.

I think basing where you go/what you do on whether or not it's legal to carry a gun, is just flat out weird.

But in this case, yeah, I think the guy I responded to is afraid of being in New Orleans without a gun. He's not the first one I've known to feel that way.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes I have a gun in New Orleans, but I don't determine whether or not I go down there based on if I have a gun or not. Some people just seem to take this shite too far.

I called and asked. They girl's response was "just don't let anyone see it, but we don't have any rules on it."

Genuine question - where are there metal detectors? Only ones I know of are at the insectariun, because it's in a federal building, and courthouses.
