Anyone use these folks? Good or bad experience? How fast do they work?

FWIW I only need an oil change/check up and some minor stuff. Power steering fluid etc.

I'm trying to avoid driving down to the experts at Boat Stuf because they only take boats during working hours.

TIA

They do good work. Do not bring it to boats unlimited. My buddy has had great service at Cajun. I need to do mine on my boat, I'll prolly do it myself though it's pretty simple. Oil for the sho is $65 a gallon..damn synthetic

ETA: if anyone has a Yamaha and does own maintenance simyamaha.com has awesome kits for it with everything you need. My kit is $165 for all he fluids and parts.

If you never change it, the price doesn't matter.

I finally splashed mine. I'm going to put another 6-8 then change all fluids. Oil is still brand new, just worried about condensation.

There's a guy I know that brought his boat to cajun like a decade ago and it's still not fixed.

She ran like a scalded dog. I still don't have a top speed, yet. I let off too soon.

I would but the motor goes out of warranty at the end of this month so I wanted to get it in a shop for a full check up in case there is anything that needs to be fixed before the warranty is up.

I just had the oil changed in my motor at Cajun a few weeks ago. They had my boat for 2 days. If you go now the turn around would be quick. Once the local boat shows start they might get busy.

Putting a Powerpole on my dad's boat went quite a bit over schedule. Could've been a one time thing, but was frustrating none the less.

Depends on the mounting bracket. The good ones bolt to the jackplate then the motor bolts to it. So the motor has to come off. That being said, mine was done in less than a day and thats the bracket I have. But it wasn't done at Cajun. It was done at the dealer where I bought it in Miss.
