You make a good point though: It would block my AU tag on the front and that wouldn't be a good thing.

If you hit something that hard, probably going to lose the bumper and the radiator anyways.

Dont have to hit anything that hard at all to bend it up. I have seen 3 of them do it with barely any hits. They only have attachment points on the bottom of the damn things, so they bend up

I'm not a fan. I'd tater a brush guard or full front bumper replacement.

It all comes down to personal preference unless you are actually bumping gates and bulls and shite anyway.

I have one just b/c it's the best place to mount my KC HIDs.

I love those friggin' lights.

Only in a very masculine way, of course.

As was said, they are lightweight as hell.
They are good for mounting lights, which ironically, makes them even more worthless for actually pushing stuff.

You have to put rub strips where they contact the bumper or they'll rattle every time you slam the door, no matter how tight you tight you get them.

Good points that I hadn't thought of since I have no experience with them.

They offer zero protection and most make you lose your tow hooks. So you actually lose some functionality AND have a gay tick hanging off the front of your truck. Get a light bar for lights and a brush guard for light protection.

The lightest front end Collision will take out your bumper, radiator, hood, grill, and both fenders. $1500+ repair. Body shops love those things.

The one I put on clears the tow hooks fine.

I looked for hours on the net for a better way to mount lights and there ain't one. The light bars for the F250 looked like arse, IMHO.
