Buck bombs / scent attractants?

Every time I smoke a funny cigarette in the box stand deer show up not long after.

I have zero empirical evidence that deer like the smell of Mary Jane and only speak from personal experience.

We have pretty good success with the buck bomb. I've told people about it and they have had success.

We use dominant buck.

I've only used doe urine once and that was about a month ago. I put the cheapest doe pee I could find at academy on a dollar general tampon on a limb overhanging the pipeline. The wind was strong out of the north that morning. A spike came out down wind and walked back and forth trying to pinpoint where the doe was. He finally walked up and sniffed the tampon and then turned and headed back in the woods.

I've had one buck in about 12 buck bombs set off over the last 10 years. I do however, get consistent results from Tinks 69.

Most of the bucks I've killed have come in to the tinks 69 or buck bombs...like within 20 yards of it. I have had good luck with doe bleats as well.

My confidence goes way down if I forget to put it out around the rut.
