I'm headed to the camp in Bay St. Louis for the weekend. Can anybody point me in the direction of where the fish are biting and on what?

If you hit on something come back and give us a report.
My camp neighbor and I were talking about going on Wed- if the wind is calm, it's probably time to get back to Flat Boat.
If you know where the Conservation Camp pilings are, there's a shell pad a few hundred yards right south of them in the Gulf- some of my best days are there- but it's hard to get right on it.

the bay has been pretty dead since all that fresh water a couple of weeks ago other than sheepshead at the bridges. It's starting to pick back up though according to Shore Thing. If I were you I'd start at the rocks that are south of the bridge and then head to Cabbage reef/flat boat/isle au pitre/any marsh in that area. Cat island might be a solid choice as well.

Depends on what you want. There are slot reds and flounder in the bay if you work grass lines, cuts, etc... Trout I have no idea. If you want trout id do what the other posts said. It's getting close for flat boat.

We pretty much just stayed in the bay. The water was still really fresh so we did not get any action. I don't think we even had a bite. We turned it into a booze cruise after a few spots.

Did y'all go out in BSL?

Yeah we tried the bay bridge, went over to the Jourdan River, and then up in Bayou Portage. I'm going back at the end month and will hopefully have better luck.

I meant go-out as in go out drinking. Gabbies, Lil Joes, Blaise...belly up to the bar type places. I was asking because we golf carted around until late on Saturday, both eating and drinking.

Friday we went to the Blind Tiger and Buoys. Saturday we went to Shaggy's for a bit then just back to the camp.
