I have issues with no other weeds except this stuff. How to fight this off? Already treated 2 times with MSMA.

There is a poison called sedgehammer. It will kill it.

You can try Sedgehammer or get out there and pull it.

I've heard of sedgehammer. Is now the time to treat with this product?

Not sure. I know MSMA is best used when the night temp is above 60 or so.

Permit is another one that works really well. Takes at least 14 days before you see the results but is very selective, I've found. I spray nutsedge in wife's flower beds without killing flowers. I wet flowers as little as possible though.

Apply anytime it's actively growing.

Whatever you do, do not pull it up. That causes it to spread even more no matter how well you think you pulled the root up.

MSMA won't do it... I use Certainty or Dismiss

Certainty

A little goes a long way.

It also controls lots of weeds and suppresses buttonweed.

Finally found something that kills virginia buttonweed. Surmount. Read label first, I'm notsaying you should use it for that purpose, but I did.
